THE ONE AND MANY... ALISTAIR MCGOWAN

"Wickedly funny mimicry"
Sunday Mirror

The nation’s favourite impressionist, Alistair McGowan (The Big Impression), is set to embark on his first solo stand-up tour in ten years.

Alistair will take to the road (and the rails) this autumn with a brand new one-man show, resurrecting his legendary celebrity impressions and introducing audiences to a host of new never-before-heard voices along the way. However, Alistair’s stand-up is about much more than impersonation – expect sharp observations, poetry and romance, animals and surrealism, love and anger, wordplay and ‘greenery’ as well as footballers and film stars.

No make-up or costume changes … just one man, a microphone and an amazing multitude of voices – including most importantly, his own.

Alistair will be taking this brand new show to this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival where he will be playing nightly at 7.20pm from 6–31st August (excluding the 17th) at the Rainy Hall (the Assembly Hall).

He is also taking a second show to the festival titled Cocktails With Coward co-starring Charlotte Page. Running daily at 4.40pm from August 6-31st (excluding the 17th) at the Edinburgh Suite (the Assembly Rooms), Cocktails with Coward will showcase a selection of Noel Coward’s ‘Master-ful’ songs and poems.

2009 Tour Dates (Oct,Nov,Dec)
