Jon is a 25-year-old stand-up comedian and broadcaster. Educated at Lancaster Royal Grammar School where he attained three As at A-level in Spanish, French and Math's he followed on to Bristol University to read Hispanic Studies. Feeling creatively stifled by the University system he left after one year, despite having gained a first in his exams. After a year working as a chef he began performing stand-up comedy in May 2003 and within a year and half was working full time as a comic.
He has since performed stand-up across Europe, supported Alan Carr on his sell-out national tour and been seen on Paramount Television's "Live at The Comedy Store". His debut one-hour show 'Spatula Pad' was nominated for the if.comedy best newcomer award at the 2007 Edinburgh Festival.
Jon can currently be heard on Russell Howard's BBC 6 Music's Radio show every Sunday from 10am to 1pm.
