Pin sharp comedy beautifully delivered is the trademark The Evening Standard

The master of the comic anti-climax The Independent

Stand-up's most irresistible rogue The Guardian

The funniest stand-up in Britain The Sun

Green is one of those impish comics who charms rather than provokes his audience, offering them glimpses into the workings of his bizarre mind The Independent on Sunday

Now a self-confessed member of the Tupperware generation, Green has moved on from the laddish humour he has made his name with to date. However the cheeky chappy persona still persists and Green shows no signs of dropping the incredibly high standards of comedy he has always maintained. From the outset the audience is carried on a constant roll of laughter with no signs of relief throughout the hour. Green has a keen eye for the shared experience and delivers razor sharp observations with precision. A fantastically assured performer, he is in a class of his own. The Evening News

It's the twinkle in his eye that lets Jeff get away with murder - a process which began on Thursday with Jeff advising an unsuspecting Yank tourist in his crowd to visit Rhyl ("It's a bit like Las Vegas"). Of course there's also the genuine warmth with which Jeff goes about his business - the business of being a disarming charmer. Aye, he's a loveable rogue. And most perceptive and laugh-out-loud funny one too. The Herald

Jeff Gree Photo
If a London comedy critic had to stake his or her life on a performance recommendation, then Jeff Green would have to be in the frame. His shows are freewheeling delightful affairs in which an hour seems to last 18 minutes. The Evening Standard

Only a comedian with great presence and self-belief could make a stage his home. Green makes it look easy Edinburgh Evening News

Brave, perceptive, uniquely honest and very, very funny The Herald
