2013 British Comedy Award Best Male Comic nominee Jon Richardson is checking his tyre pressures, hoovering his floor mats and putting an emergency packed lunch in the boot of his car, ready to hit the road again with a brand new tour Nidiot. After a sell out spring run, the forty-two date autumn tour includes two nights at the Hammersmith Apollo on 3rd and 4th October where he will record his second live stand-up DVD set for release in November 2014.
The perennial singleton and misanthrope is determined to become a more easygoing person for the sake of his friends and his future health. Come and find out whether or not a leopard can change its spots, or if they are doomed to be angry forever not to have been given a more uniform and symmetrical fur pattern.
Jon will also be starring in a brand new Channel 4 series this September, Jon Richardson Grows Up. In the new three-part series Jon will embark on a journey that will not only enlighten him, but the whole of the UK, as to what it takes to be a 'Happy Adult'. This is not just a do-gooders guide to growing as a person - Jon and his best mate, fellow comedian and optimist Matt 'Fordie' Forde, are going on a good old fashioned road-trip around Britain. The pair will travel in a campervan meeting people from all walks of life who have unique views on what it means to be grown-up'.
