ALAN CARR EXTENDS CONTRACT WITH CHANNEL 4 UNTIL 2014
It was announced this Friday that comedian and chat show host Alan Carr has extended his deal with Channel 4 for another two years. A further four series of the award-winning Alan Carr: Chatty Man has been commissioned for 2012 and 2013, plus Alan will also be involved in various other projects for Channel 4.
Regularly pulling in impressive viewing figures of two million and now with a new Friday night slot, Alan Carr: Chatty Man has just started its sixth series of eight episodes. A seventh series is planned for the end of the year.
Alan Carr says: ‘I’m absolutely flattered to be spending another two years at Channel 4, my spiritual home. Being moved to a regular Friday night slot really is the icing on the cake – I’m dead chuffed!’
