THIS YEAR’S CHANNEL 4 COMEDY GALA IN AID OF GREAT ORMOND STREET HOSPITAL AT THE LONDON O2 IS ON SALE

Back for a fourth year, the Channel 4 Comedy Gala in aid of Great Ormond St Hospital returns to The O2 on Saturday 18th May with an all star cast from the for the world of comedy.

Join Adam Hills, Alan Carr, Jack Dee, Jason Byrne, Jo Brand, Jonathan Ross, Josh Widdicombe, Kevin Bridges, Lee Evans, Michael McIntyre, Noel Fielding, Paddy McGuinness, Paul Chowdhry, Rhod Gilbert, Rich Hall, Seann Walsh and Tom Stade, with many more to be announced…

The show is to be recorded for Channel 4.

PAUL CHOWDHRY TO HOST THE CHANNEL 4 COMEDY SHOWCASE AT THE LONDON COMEDY STORE ON MONDAY 3RD JUNE

Paul Chowdhry will be hosting the Channel 4 Comedy Showcase at the London Comedy Store on Monday 3rd June. Featuring on the bill will be Angela Barnes, Celia Pacquola, Marlon Davis, Pat Cahill, Rob Beckett, Roisin Conaty, Romesh Ranganathan and Simon Evans.

MICHAEL MCINTYRE’S DVD SHOWTIME NUMBER ONE ON CHRISTMAS DAY

The DVD Michael McIntyre – Showtime was number one on Christmas Day in the official UK Comedy Stand-Up Chart and finished the week with 65,090 sales, ahead of Mrs Brown’s Boys with 49,015 sales for the week leading up to Christmas Day and finishing on Saturday 29th December. Kevin Bridges – The Story Continues… climbs to number five with 27,093 sales, with Jon Richardson – Funny Magnet at number eleven with 9,205 sales closely followed by Dara O Brian – Craic Dealer at twelve with 7,950. Paul Chowdhry – What’s Happening White People? has climbed to twenty-one with 1,.549 sales. Sales figures are for the period Sunday 23rd until Saturday 29th December 2012.
TICKETS FOR PAUL CHOWDHRY AT THE HAMMERSMITH APOLLO ON SATURDAY 22ND SEPTEMBER ON SALE

C4 COMEDY GALA IN AID OF GREAT ORMOND STREET HOSPITAL AT THE LONDON O2 ARENA SELLS 7000 TICKETS ON THE OPENING DAY

The C4 Comedy Gala in aid of Great Ormond St Hospital sold over 7,000 tickets on its opening day of sale for the all star comedy event at the London o2 Arena on Friday 11th May (7:30pm show).

The line-up confirmed so far is Lee Evans, Michael McIntyre, Jonathan Ross, Micky Flanagan, Sean Lock, Kevin Bridges, Jo Brand, Jack Whitehall, Jack Dee, Jon Richardson, Seann Walsh, Lee Nelson, Josh Widdicombe, Paul Chowdhry plus special guests, as we raise money for a new operating theatre.

Paul can be currently seen as a regular on the third series of Channel 4’s late night topical comedy show Stand Up For The Week where he has been impressing viewers and audiences week-on-week with his unique take on international multi-racial issues.

Seen by many as the UK’s number one Asian comedian, with approximately three million YouTube hits, Paul Chowdhry has distinguished himself as one of the most talented and popular comedians to have recently emerged. Inspired by comedians such as the late Richard Prior, George Carlin and Sam Kinison, Paul is one of the few comics with the ability and diversity to effortlessly straddle the urban and main stand-up circuits as an international headline act – with his highly charged dry observational humour tapping into the multicultural diversity of contemporary Britain.

One of the most sought after comics on the UK comedy circuit, Paul has recently embarked on a twenty-five date sell-out UK tour, including two sell-out nights at London’s Indigo2.
