15 Storeys High

Combining an unsettling mixture of bleakness and warmth, 15 Storeys High is the brainchild of award-winning stand-up Sean Lock. Along with co-writers Martin Treneman and Mark Jones, he has created two series' of carefully crafted and beautifully plotted episodes of this strange and hilarious sit-com.

VinceClarke (Sean Lock) is a lifeguard at the local pool, a job which combines his two great loves Water and Power. He is still sharing a flat in a South London tower block with his infuriating lodger Errol (Benedict Wong) - the amiable but irritating fool from Salford. One of ten kids from different fathers, Errol is affectionately known to his mother as "the Chinese One".

Each week we follow the characters on their separate journeys through the social minefields of inner city London. Errol embraces everything with naive enthusiasm whilst Vince maintains a scowling mistrust of everyone he meets. The show is peppered with voyeuristic glimpses into the other flats around them. From the Rastafarians, doing their Dub Reggae workout, to the 45-year old punks trying to relive their heyday.

15 Storeys High is a truly unique show and deserves to watched again and again, if only to find out how Errol does those one-arm pushups.

The show is directed by Mark Nunnelly, produced by Phil Bowker and the Executive Producer is Jon Plowman.

Even when it flags, this is fantastic. We're fed up of telling you how good it is - if you're not watching it you're a fools. Don't make us come round there The Guardian

Extraordinary well-written comedy with plot strands and incidental characters worthy of vintage Seinfeld The Times

Writer and actor Sean Lock's brilliant, stylishly filmed, BAFTA-nominated comedy illustrates that people who reside in high rises don't necessarily live the cosy lifestyle portrayed in Friends The Sun
