Alan's going to be on Radio 2
Alan has a brand new series on BBC Radio 2 starting Sat 18 Oct at 1.30pm for 6 weeks. Alan Carr's Comedy Outings will see Alan presenting 30 minutes of his favourite comedy clips from the BBC comedy archives.

Alan signs Channel 4 deal
Alan’s signed an exclusive UK deal with Channel 4. The two-year contract runs from January 2009 to December 2010. It gives Channel 4 exclusive rights to of all of Carr’s UK TV output. Alan will continue to host The Sunday Night Project alongside Justin Lee Collins a weekly celeb guest. He’ll also return for another series of Alan Carr’s Celebrity Ding Dong, where panels of celebrities pit their wits against each other. In addition the contract will include other major primetime series, currently in development.

Alan said: “I'm absolutely thrilled to be spending two more glorious years at Channel 4. It’s a civil ceremony made in heaven."

Andrew Newman, Channel 4’s Head of Comedy and Entertainment said: "We are thrilled that Alan Carr is staying at Channel 4 as he is one of the funniest men on TV."
