After bringing us our third main prize win at the Edinburgh festival at the if.comedy awards (formerly the Perrier award) in 2007, Brendon completed his first European tour to packed houses. He is currently working on a pilot for the BBC with none other than Jon Plowman, famed producer of such hits as The Office, Absolutely Fabulous and Little Britain.

Finally all the years of grief involved in managing the UK’s most controversial performer have paid off.

… you have only ever really toked on pure socio-political comedy. Which is not without its effect. With Brendon you are mainlining. And the hit is a feeling I will never, ever forget. Last night I had to accept that I am part of the problem. I am not really comfortable being shown that by Brendon Burns.  But respect, sir. And not a little awe. *****
